P.R.A.T.S. was the brainchild of RockinJock666, ManicJBass and Rockchick from the Planet Rock Forum in 2006. The idea was for like minded listeners to the UK's Classic Rock Radio Station - Planet Rock - to get together to talk about all things Rock related and generally to have a good time.
The first meet took place in the Half Moon in Putney on Friday 4th August 2006. There were just 6 forum members who attended that evening plus a surprise appearance by one Mr Rob Birnie Planet Rock DJ extraordinaire.
Since this first meet P.R.A.T.S. has gone from strength to strength with recent attendance figures of nearly 50 Planet Rock listeners. As a consequence of the London P.R.A.T.S. other meets have been arranged around the country including Edinburgh, Birmingham, Nottingham, Glasgow and Manchester. There has also been a family 'Picnic in the Park' in St. Albans (on a rainy day).
